Laboratory Services

Rhinebeck Equine has a modern diagnostic laboratory offering complete blood counts (CBC), serum chemistries, electrolytes and blood gases that are available around the clock. This allows immediate assessment of our emergency and critical care patients without delay. In addition, bacterial cultures, identification and sensitivities are routinely run in-house. IDEXX assays for Lyme Disease, Anaplasma and IgG are also available. We have relationships with a wide variety of outside laboratories that provide all other types of laboratory testing and clinical pathology services.

Did you know you can access your horse's Coggins and health certificates online?

Go to and click on "Sign Up" in the upper right-hand corner.

For further directions, follow the link at the bottom of the homepage. We need to have your email address stored with the Coggins form for you to access it so be sure we have your correct email address on file. If you are a trainer or manager, please sign up as an "Animal Agent" so that we may connect your owners' horses to your account.

** Please note that fecal samples can take up to 5 days to get results!**
