Rhinebeck Equine is looking for a dynamic, mature, engaging, people person to be our newest receptionist. In this role, you will be the face of our hospital. Your priority will be answering the phone in a professional, polite manner, assisting clients in person, scheduling appointments, handling payments, discussing payment options, and dispatching emergency calls. You will be greeting incoming clients and visitors compassionately, directing them or providing the information they need, while maintaining client confidentiality. You will also perform various duties including typing letters, creating mailing lists, and sending out e-newsletters for events and seminars. You must have excellent computer and phone skills, knowledge of the horse world, and some experience with horses. We are seeking an individual that has the ability to build positive relationships and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment. You will also need to be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours. Rhinebeck Equine offers a competitive benefits package and salary is based on experience.
Rhinebeck Equine is the largest equine referral hospital in the Hudson Valley with board-certified specialists in surgery (2), internal medicine, theriogenology, and ophthalmology.
