Catherine Jula, DVM

Dr. Jula Dr. Catherine Jula will be joining our team for her internship year. Dr. Jula was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She developed a love for all animals, but particularly horses, at a young age. Her supportive parents realized this was more than just a phase and purchased a lovable QH mare named Sugar (pictured below), whom Catherine showed for many years in 4-H and still owns today. Catherine attended West Virginia University where she majored in Animal and Nutritional Science with a minor in Equine Studies. While at WVU Catherine also showed with the Western Equestrian Team through IHSA. Catherine then moved back to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University for veterinary school. While all areas of equine medicine interest her, Catherine is particularly passionate about Equine Internal Medicine. Outside of veterinary medicine, Catherine enjoys running, rock climbing, reading, photography, hiking, and all things artsy. She owns two kitties, Lacey and Luna, who provide constant entertainment and occasional snuggles.
